Where is your sacred sanctuary? I find tranquility in the quiet space of a California Mission, a sacred place where thousands before me have shared their prayers silently in room of angels. Others find their peace at the mosque or temple, in the mountains or at the ocean. Where ever your heart guides go.
Take a moment to merge with the universe as silence opens a door of light to a sometimes dark world. We are living in times of great change. We hear it, feel it, know it and still grapple with the transformation of our world. Hold steady to the truth of love. The power is in the gift of community and care.
We have come together in this journey with reason and purpose. As we face challenges and choices, trust that the Divine is present in your life. Act with conviction that you can make a difference through kindness, understanding and compassion. You are the angel holding flame now! Together we shine with brilliance can grace. Be love.
Such a beautiful photo to go with todays entry. So many of us that are not of the “traditional” religious variety sometimes feel so out of place or even unwelcome at local places of worship, that we forget momentarily that we can create our own sanctuary just about anywhere. We cannot let ourselves get hung up on the idea that there is only one “right place” to feel and commune with Spirit. Spirit is everywhere and anywhere we ourselves happen to be, and when the moment for communion is right, then you are already in the “right place”.
